SONG OF THE DAY: Pinocchio Story [Freestyle Live From Singapore] - Kanye West


Pinocchio Story was a bonus track on Kanye’s 4th studio album, 808s and Heartbreak. This track was recorded in front of a crowd in Singapore that most likely had NO idea what he was talking about.  You can hear them in the background cheering as Kanye stands on stage pouring his heart out, blaming himself and his life choices for his mother’s death. 

The fact that Kanye chose to perform this live in a foreign country when he could have recorded it in any studio he wished makes the point of the song ring even more clear…maybe none of us will EVER understand.
